This hotel in a charming city on the water is a real gem. The rooms have a Scandinavian simplicity and the attention to detail is impressive. I loved the large outdoor patio where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home. And the location couldn't be better - right in the center of town and close to the waterfront.

We enjoyed almost everything about the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable and larger than many hotels in which we have stayed in Europe.

The only drawback to the hotel was the fact that a train passes under it. The trains weren't bad, but the bells of warning for the road crossing were loud. We would still stay there again.

Hudiksvall is a most attractive small town wth a long history, near the sea and beautiful countryside. The hotel is centrally located, clean and efficient; the room not luxurious but quiet and functional; and the breakfast very good. The swimming pool was a good bonus.

Had a great Christmas stay at this hotel. The car parking was easy and free. The central location was ideal for exploring the town and doing some last-minute shopping. The breakfast was served in a stunning old part of the hotel and had a good variety of hot and cold options. The swimming pool was a refreshing bonus and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was situated close to a railway and a busy road junction, which could be a bit noisy at night. , the receptionist wasn't very welcoming or informative about parking and the elevator location.
